NPC EAST COAST TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS 2007- 2nd Place qualified for Nationals

Favorite Supplements (and why):
ReVamp- b/c it is a predigested protein that allows me to minimize muscles breakdown while lifting and on a restricted calories/carb intake. ReVamp allows me to recover quicker and decreased soreness the next day. ReMake- b/c of its unique formulation of both fast & slow digesting proteins, CLA & Flax...it also makes me feel like I am having a cheat meal b/c it tastes great and I can make it as a shake, throw it in my oatmeal or protein pancakes! YUM

Upcoming Competition Plans:
2008- debut on the National stage. Most likely at the JUNIOR USA's then 2 more national level competitions to be determined.

Most Inspiring People (outside bodybuilding):
My father- who is his 60's could out do me in cardio any day! He is the epitome of what it takes to make health and fitness a lifelong priority. He has taught me that "life is 90% mental" and that "life's battles don't always go to the stronger of faster man, but sooner or later to the man who thinks they can". Those two statements alone have gotten me through grueling training,, extreme competition dieting and so much more. Your mind really controls your body so having that positive outlook makes ALL the difference in the world. I thank my father from the bottom of my heart for making fitness such a part of my childhood and setting the stage for a healthy adulthood.

Disturbed, Chevelle, Linkin Park, Saliva, DJ Khalid, 80's, Diddy... I love rock, alternative hip-hop basically anything with a great beat or aggressive lyrics when I lift.
Other Interests: Traveling (they call me "flight risk"...I have been known to hop planes last minute), painting, raising money for my charity "Vixens Against Violence" which helps battle domestic violence and sexual assault, designing graphics for clothing, testing new supplement formulations and growing my business. IM A WORKAHOLIC!!! But I love every minute of it!

ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE, THE IMPOSSIBLE JUST TAKES LONGER. Also, doing something positive for yourself is so much more productive and beneficial then doing something negative to someone else. Too many people waste energy on the negative. Looking and feeling great is always your best REVENGE

- My worst unhealthy habit is not getting enough sleep. I hate to sit still and would rather be creating something, working on a new idea, making new networking contacts or at the gym then sleeping!
- I used to teach rock climbing and art to deaf children so I can still communicate via sign language.

Tell Your Story (What Inspired you to compete, obstacles you've overcome, etc.):
I started training for my first figure competition this year as a way to test the Karmic Revenge protein supplements. I wanted to put myself and the products to the test in only 12 weeks. I also really wanted to understand the pain, the determination, the dedication, the discipline and the rewarding feelings that all came as part of the territory when competing. How could I ask my customers to trust me or be able to speak to them about the value of my products if I didn't go through it myself? What started out as a business venture turned into a TRUE love for the sport! I'm hooked and constantly looking to better my physique.

I love knowing that not everyone has what it takes to become a "impact" competitor- it really takes knowledge of the human body (specifically how YOURS changes, reacts and rebels), an incredible amount of sacrifice and a strong constitution to put your best foot forward on that stage. I played Division 1 volleyball in college but even two-a-days in preseason could not have prepared me for the mental and physical battles I had with myself while in contest-prep mode. I am looking forward to making improvements and taking the stage again in 2008! Hope to see YOU there!
